The Worship Arts Community of New Creation Church thrives on worshipping God through a lifestyle of worship from a servant heart.  We welcome all those who share this same passion to engage with us in the ongoing quest to grow in our intimacy with Jesus Christ, connect through meaningful relationships with others, serve those around us, and reach out to people in our sphere of life.

Everything we do in life to intentionally serve and honor God is worship to Him.  We pursue living clean lives and hearts full of passion to love and serve God and others through a worship ethic.  This lifestyle of daily devotion to God’s will then spills out in undignified unbridled praise & worship through various expressions of worship arts.  Music, song, drama, poetry, dance, fine art, and media are examples of this expression.

If you are willing and available to serve God and others through a lifestyle of worship, and if you are called to be a part of the New Creation Church family, then you are welcome to join us in the worship arts community.  We desire to see people released in the gifts and callings of God to become people of great influence.  Once you have completed the NCC Leadership classes 101 and 201, the following opportunities to serve are available:

           

  • Adult Band – Leads worship every Sunday morning, however, band members rotate through based on monthly availability. Audition is required. Mentorship may be available for those who desire to improve their skill level. Band members attend Thursday evening rehearsals prior to their scheduled Sunday service.
  • Adult Choir – Leads worship on the second and fourth Sundays of the month, with a rehearsal on the Thursday evening prior. No audition required, just be able to match a pitch!
  • Technical Arts – Encompasses many areas of service including audio engineering for adult, youth, and kids services, as well as media projection, lighting, platform crew, and video production. No previous experience is necessary.
  • Kids Worship – Extends from elementary school-aged children to those in preschool and nursery classes. Volunteers who have a heart for children and a passion for worship can serve once or twice a month based on Sunday availability. Volunteers report to Kids Worship Coordinators who implement the overall strategy and vision for Kids Worship. Background checks are required.
  • Youth Worship – Focuses on ministry for students from 6th to 12th grade. Young people with musical gifts are being raised up and released in our Wednesday night youth services, and adults are encouraged to be part of that mentoring process. Audition is required. Background checks are required for adult volunteers.
  • Other Arts – Opens a door to other avenues of artistic worship expression that God would call us to in the future as our community grows.  This encompasses drama, creative writing/poetry, dance, & fine art.  We look forward to implementing these areas of ministry as leaders emerge and God raises up potential team members.
